Since my blog is still rather new, I thought this tag might be interesting for some of you. I wasn’t really tagged by anyone, but I thought I’d do this anyway. Here are a couple of questions about me, so you can get to know me a bit better. Aside from what I said already on the about page.
How many siblings do you have? I have one older sister.
What is your middle name? My middle name is Lydia, which is the name of my grandmother and I’m very proud of it.
What was your favourite subject at school? I’m still studying, so right now I would have to say Graphic Design. Though next semester that will probably change.
What is your favourite drink? I am addicted to Coca Cola.
What is your favourite song at the moment? Way Down We Go by Kaleo. If you don’t know it, you should definitely listen to it. It’s great.
What is your favourite food? Difficult one, since I love food. I would have to say Spaghetti or french fries, since that is kind of the Belgian signature dish.
What is the last thing you bought? Christmas presents for my family. The last thing I bought for myself was a new phone (more on that later).
Favourite book of all time? At this moment, I would have to say The Martian. I haven’t read many books yet, but this one was really surprising and exciting and funny (Man, I could go on all day about this book)
Favourite colour? It’s probably a combination of these two.
Do you have any pets? No, I do not. My last pet was a rabbit though.
Favourite holiday? Definitely Christmas. Being around my family is most important.
Are you married? Nope.
Have you ever been out of the country, if so how many times? Since I live in Belgium it’s quite normal to travel further than the Belgian borders. I’ve been in a few other European countries like Portugal and Spain. I’ve also visited Berlin and London. I might visit London again this year and I’d love to make some more citytrips in the future.
(Oh I almost forgot, I’m visiting Berlin again for school next year)
Do you speak any other language? I can speak french for the most part (still learning though) and I know a little german too.
What is your favourite shop? Book Depository or Bol.com (which is the dutch Amazon). It just now occurs to me that I pretty much buy everything online.
Favourite restaurant? I don’t go to restaurants that often, but if I would have to pick one it would be Il Cardinale. Just think about culinary burgers and you’ve got the right idea. Holy Guacamole!
When was the last time you cried? Probably when watching Inside Out hahaha.
Favourite blog? I follow so many amazing blogs that I couldn’t possibly choose.
Favourite movie? Any Marvel movie really and the Martian was also really great.
Favourite TV shows? I would have to say Game of Thrones and again any of the Marvel series and Modern Family, because that makes me laugh to tears every single episode.
PC or Mac? Absolutely Mac.
What phone do you have? I recently bought a Motorola Moto X Style and I’m loving it.
How tall are you? I don’t really know. If I would have to guess, I’d probably say around 1m75 or something.
Can you cook? No, I can hardly make an omelette.
Now you know all kinds of random facts about me that you probably won’t remember.
I’ll see you later!

You’re right, I am not sure how much I’ll remember, but I do feel like I know you so much better now hahaha

Loved reading this! Ooh graphic design, what sort of things do you do in there? I’d like to do that at some point. And Mac. I totally agree.

Well, this semester we learned a bunch of art styles from the last 100 years, a bit of photography and typography. We got to design an advert for a certain sport. I’m guessing we’ll get to do a bit more in the next few years, but it was interesting thus far 😁 Yes, I bought my iMac a couple of years ago and I’ve been loving it since.

I’m listening to all the pretty girls by them right now. I think I found my next favourite singer.

No Good, which they wrote for Vinyl that show on HBO, is one to just drop everything you’re doing and go wild or something hahaha 😂
It’s also a bummer that not all of their songs are available on Spotify, because they have some other great ones too…

Love your answers 🙂 I’ve been meaning to watch Game of Thrones for a while now but I don’t know if reading the books before is a good idea or not. Haha I’m learning French and German at the moment too. Is Dutch similar to German?
LikeLiked by 1 person
I watched it before I started reading the series and I didn’t have too much of a problem with it.
There are some similarities, because as someone who speaks Dutch it’s possible to understand some sentences even if you’ve never learned a single word of German. Though there are also some quite notable differences between them, which makes it hard to learn, in my opinion.

Thanks for your answer 🙂 Looks like I have no reason to not watch it now! I usually read the books before the movie/tv show but the Game of Thrones series is overwhelming! I love learning languages and learning German is what I do in my spare time.

Ugh, Inside Out was such a smart film. I sobbed too and was primed for sadness due to the Lava Song -_-…damn Pixar.

Ah yes Lava, my family (with whom I went to see it) didn’t think much of that short. I on the other hand loved it. Now that I think of it, I really want to see Inside Out again 😁
