Quick Update + Q&A Announcement

For this post I wanted to take a step back and look at some things from a different perspective. I recently recapped my four months of blogging and I’ve been making some conclusions about my experience thus far. Okay, that seems way more negative than I intended it to be. What I’m trying to say, and what I’ve said a couple of times before, is that I’m constantly searching for ways to improve my blog and how to keep things interesting. By reflecting on what has gone before, I can get a pretty good idea as to what is working and what else I can do.

To put it in other words, I’ve been trying to find some new and fun things to do with my blog. Here are some things that I would like to change or improve:

• I’ll be testing out some new types of posts soon, including the one I’m announcing down below.
• I want to do something different visually, as in using some more photographs I took myself and other things like the use of GIF’s, which I’ve been doing more and more of lately.
• There’s also trying to be a bit more responsive and involve myself more in the community. I haven’t been that involved lately and I’m not too happy about that.
• I want to get organised. It’s been difficult to organise myself lately, thanks to the large amount of schoolwork. There have been several occasions where I didn’t have an awful lot of time to write my posts (read: I wrote them last-minute). I can hear many of you say that I’m not obligated to post something on a particular deadline, but I think it’s important for myself to have a certain schedule and to keep it up.

Those are just some things I’d like to change in the future. I’m not sure whether these changes will happen soon or they’ll be more long-term changes, but I will try to pay attention to these points.
Let it be clear that these won’t be drastic changes. This blog will still be the same as it has always been and I’m not trying to overhaul everything about this blog. I’m just trying out some things which will hopefully add value to what’s already here and introduce some more quality and more personal content.
I also want to mention that I’m not doing this because I’m unhappy with my blog or the response, I’m doing this because I’m always trying to improve and work on things. Blogging has been a wonderful experience for me thus far and I couldn’t be happier with how this turned out.

Q&A
As you can probably tell from the title of this post, I want to do a Q&A. I have never done one of these before and I’m not sure if I’m doing this correctly, but I’m interested to see how this will turn out. So if you’d like to know something about me or my blog you can just leave a comment with your question and I’ll try to answer it as good and honestly as I can. I’m not promising anything, but I’ll definitely give it a try. I’ll try to post the answers to these questions on Friday, but if for some reason I’m not ready with them (school has been keeping me incredibly busy these days) they’ll be up by Monday for sure.
