I Messed Up | Tag

I was tagged by Sara from Freadomlibrary to do the I Messed Up Tag. You basically just look at things you did wrong with books or isn’t really something you should do. That’s a vague description, I know, but you’ll get what I mean when you have read the post.

A CHARACTER’S APPEARANCE THAT YOU MISREAD OR IMAGINED DIFFERENTLY
When I saw the trailer for The Girl on the Train, I felt like I imagined a lot of it differently. Some of the characters don’t look the same as they did in my head and that’s actually kind of weird, because I already knew the casting before reading this book. Emily Blunt was exactly who I pictured as Rachel, but Megan and Anna are definitely not what I had in mind.

A CHARACTER NAME THAT YOU’VE BEEN PRONOUNCING WRONG
Just pick any character from Game of Thrones. Sure, some of them are now easier to pronounce thanks to the television series, but some other still seem like they’re just some letters thrown together.

Happiness | Tag

It’s the Happiness Tag! Because who doesn’t like to be happy? Here are five things that make me happy and five songs that instantly put a smile on my face. Jouska from TheJouskablog tagged everyone to do this one, so I did and so should you.

Five thing that make me happy

–  Having absolutely nothing to do for the entire day
–  Being around my family
–  Eating can make me happy
–  Going to places I’ve never been before
–  Listening to music

Four Facts Survey | Tag

Time for another tag and this is the Four Facts Survey Tag and I’m looking for people who are interested in writing a guest post, but more information on that at the bottom. For this tag you basically just have to say four things about each of these subjects. It’s rather self-explanatory. I saw this tag on Kyleigh‘s blog Chatter From A Coffeehouse and I wasn’t actually tagged for this one, but she said anyone could give it a try so I did. Let’s go.

Four Names People Call Me Other Than My Real Name

  • I was called Jambon once, it is based on my last name.
  • My grandmother used to call me Jo’ke sometimes, as an abbreviation of my first name.
  • People also just call me weird, not really a name though.
  • I really have no other nicknames.

Four Jobs I’ve Had

  • I most recently worked as a cashier at a grocery store.
  • I’ve also worked as a cleaner in a hospital.
  • Can I consider being a student as a job? Since it takes up a lot of time and there’s a lot of work.
  • Those are all the jobs I’ve done so far.

School Books | Tag

As exams are getting closer and closer, my level of freaking out is getting higher and higher. Therefore I thought I’d do The School Book Tag, which was created by Chloe Lauren from Diary of a Lonely Girl. She’s also the one that tagged me (some time ago) and I’m more than happy to finally do this one.

  • Mention the creator of the tag
  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Answer the following with the book that most fits the statement.
  • Nominate 3 others to do the tag.

MathsA book that has two characters that equal perfection
I’m not sure if this means that it has to be a couple, but Ì’ll keep it safe in saying The Fault in Our Stars. Whilst many may say that these characters are far from perfect, some may consider these as perfect in their own way.Maths

Life in Books | Tag

In this tag you’ll find some information about my life that corresponds with a book in some kind of way. I was tagged by Nick from The Paper Dragon, he’s also from Belgium and you should totally go check his blog.
I don’t own all of the books below, but I’m including a link to Goodreads if you want to know more about them.

Count your age along your bookshelf. Which book is it?
By starting from the left on my main shelf, it’s certain that this is going to be a comic, but I think that will do just fine. The 18th book, or comic in this case, on my shelf is Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2: Angela which is written by Brian Michael Bendis.

Pick a book that represents a destination you would love to travel to?
I’m not being very imaginative with this one, as there are a lot of great fantasy worlds in books, but I’m going to pick Saints of New York by RJ Ellory for this one. New York has always been a place that I wanted to travel to since as long as I can remember. I started reading this book a long time ago, but for some reason I didn’t finish it.

This or That | Tag

It’s time for another tag. In this one I get served ten dilemma’s, all associated with books, where I have to pick the choice that applies most to my own situation and behaviour.
I was tagged by Jillian from Rant and Rave About Books.

  1. Mention the creator of the tag (Ayunda @ Tea and Paperbacks).
  2. Thank the blogger who tagged you!
  3. Choose one of the options—you don’t have to explain the reason for your choice, but you can admit to it, if you want to.
  4. To spread the love, tag 10 other people to do this tag.

#1   Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Definitely on the bed. I spend most of my time in my own room and I don’t have a couch there so.

#2   Male main character or female main character?
This doesn’t really matter for me as long as the characters are interesting.

#3   Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
I don’t usually eat while I’m reading, but if I do have to pick one I’ll say sweet snacks.

Playlist Shuffle | Tag

A tag where we can recommend music to other people? Count me in. I truly enjoy having people get to know some of your favourite songs. That’s also one of the main reasons of my Listen to this-post (which might as well turn into a series as I really liked writing that one). Now for this tag you have to put your music on shuffle and list the first 15 songs that start to play. Now the tag says that you shouldn’t cheat, but I guess I kind of have to. I won’t be shuffling my entire music library as I haven’t used that one for a while now. Instead I’ll be using the Spotify-playlist I listen to most. At the moment it contains about seventy songs, so I guess that’ll be enough to deliver some random songs.
