The long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo is finally here. Finding Dory has hit theatres and puts the forgetful, yet loveable blue tang at the centre of the story. Pixar is now full on track in the sequel business, as it’s releasing a number of them in the next few years with only one original movie slated. The question is though whether or not these sequels will be able to match the success and quality of the original movies.

Now who doesn’t love a good movie trailer? I know I do. Here are ten trailers I thought were important enough to be mentioned. Some of these are very recent, others not so much as I’ve included some of the Super Bowl trailers. Find the trailer I’m talking about by clicking on the title.
So a new trailer has dropped for this Finding Nemo-sequel and it looks fantastic. We get to see some of the new characters and some original ones as well. I like the explanation they gave in this trailer for the way she now remembers some things. So 2016 has quietly begun and I think that now is the excellent time to start looking forward. More specifically: start looking forward to all the movies that are coming out this year.
(My next post will be about books, I promise) I must say that it’s a long list. With long I mean seriously multiple pages long, which is why this post will be split up into two parts. According to IMDB, the go-to source of everything movie-related, there are more than 130 movies coming out and I reckon that that list isn’t even complete yet.
I’ll be sharing the top movies I’m excited about seeing in theatres (I’ve narrowed it down to about 20 movies, so still quite a lot). Just so you know, these are in no particular order and you can also click the title to watch the trailer.
Now let’s get started, shall we?
